His back-to-back long-range goals against Norwich and Rotherham this month have raised the 20-year-old's profile.

He is now believed to be on the Spanish champions' summer wishlist.

According to DiariosportBarça are preparing a move for Asprilla as they look to fend off interest from the Premier League.

However, there are concerns about the potential costs of the transfer.

Watford reportedly value Asprilla, who has two years left on his contract, at between £34m and £43m.

Asprilla stunned fans with a goal in the 4-2 defeat to Norwich earlier this month.

The striker picked up the ball on the right before cutting inside and firing his shot into the top corner from around 30 yards.

He followed that goal up with another special strike to take victory against Rotherham on Saturday.
