Bebe Rexha has slammed body shamers in a new post on Instagram.

The 34-year-old singer said: ‘It’s 2024. Skinny shaming and fat shaming are hurtful and perpetuate harmful stereotypes.’

The crooner went on to explain that no one knows what someone is going through, and that they may be eating too much to cope, or too little to feel any control over their life.

And she reminded fans that it’s all about being “healthy” and not about how you look.

Rexha concluded by saying people should be kind to each other and “spread more love and compassion.”

Also this week, she was seen in St. Barts as a Hollywood pin-up, wearing a sheer black dress that showed off her swimsuit.

Her hair was pulled back and she wore oversized sunglasses as she walked the pristine white sand beach during her winter vacation.

The beauty has gone up and down with her weight over the past decade and has proudly spoken for herself.

This comes after she said she has “no expectations” of Grammy success.

The singer has been nominated for the Best Pop Dance Recording Grammy alongside David Guetta for ‘One in a Million’ – but after previously missing a gong, Bebe refuses to get carried away.

She told PEOPLE: “It made me really sad. I said to myself, “If I don’t win for ‘Meant to Be,’ I really don’t think I’ll ever win a Grammy for anything else.”

“Since then, I’ve tried not to have any expectations.”

Nevertheless, Bebe is very happy that she has been nominated for a Grammy.

The singer also feels that she has a ‘very special bond’ with David.

Bebe — who previously earned a Grammy nomination for “I’m Good (Blue),” her 2022 collaboration with David — shared, “Every time I get nominated, it’s kind of like a pinch-me moment. It shows that he and I really have a very special bond musically.’

Bebe and David, 56, have been working together for years.

And the singer recalls feeling “very nervous” ahead of their very first meeting.

Bebe said, “I remember being really nervous.

“I got in and he played me an idea, and he said, ‘I have a song I’ve been working on with Ester Dean, and I’m missing a pre-hook or a hook.’ And I thought, ‘Say less.’ David came in 30 minutes later, [‘Hey Mama’] It was over and he went crazy. It was a very surreal moment.”

Meanwhile, Bebe previously revealed she was still ‘celebrating’ after missing out on a Grammy.

In 2023, she told PEOPLE, “When I got nominated for the Grammy, my brother showed up that night. Obviously I didn’t win, but he said, “I wanted to show up just in case,” and we still celebrated. It was such a nice moment.’
