Could there be love in the BravoCon waters? Captain Jason Chambers?
“Well, I’m single, right? I use Bravo, so I’m going to fix it up [and] enjoy it,” the Below Deck Down Under star, 50, exclusively joked about it We weekly on Saturday, November 4, before unveiling a list of Bravolebrities he has already met at the convention. “I’ve met Lala [Kent]. We had a good conversation. Olivia Flowers, [too].”
Jason’s Below deck Co-star Aesha Scott also chimed in, noting that she helped play matchmaker for Jason and Lala, 33.
“I was there and very quickly removed myself from the situation,” 31-year-old Aesha said on Saturday. “I’m getting the ball rolling with a lot of Jason’s stuff. I love pawning it off to as many people as possible.”
Aesha, a main stew on the Below Deck Down Under charters, was Team Lala because “it could be a little freaky.”
Jason replied succinctly, “Freaky is good!”
Jason explained this further during his ‘perfect’ conversation with the Vanderpump Rules star, he learned that they are “very similar” and that they are both single parents. (Jason shares daughter Saskia with a former partner, while Lala co-parents daughter Ocean with ex-fiance Randall Emmett.)
Despite things going well for both Lala and Olivia, 31, Jason revealed he has yet to meet the new single Lindsay Hubbard after she also showed interest in the captain. “Look, I only have a few arrows,” he joked Usseemingly referring to Cupid’s mythological matchmaking efforts.
Jason has also been in contact with The Real Housewives of Dubai‘S Caroline Brooks during the Sin City event.
“I went to the Dubai kiss, the double, and he kissed me on the lips. I thought, ‘What’s happening here? Wow,” Caroline, 36, said Us on Friday, November 3.
While most BravoCon attendees are clamoring for a chance to meet Jason, he’s still mostly focused on his hunting career.
“I think I go into every season the same, or the two seasons, where I want to get to the end and have the best possible team that reflects our industry. And that’s where I set my goals and we had to make changes along the way,” he said Us. “And we know the issues that have happened this season, but we just jumped right into it and we’re too busy to think about it because we want to get to that end game.”
Jason’s charter last season included a consent scandal, in which he fired staffers Luke Jones And Laura Bileskalne for making inappropriate advances on two of their colleagues.
“Now we’ve looked back and seen it. We really feel like we’ve done the right thing and I’m very confident [and] comfortable with what I was doing,” Jason noted. “I feel very comfortable [with] how I responded to how Aesha felt. I just moved on from her [and] What was going on. I didn’t actually see anything until the end. My first thing was to diffuse the situation, get a good night’s sleep and reassess the situation the next morning.”
