‘Since when have I…’: Stokes’ fitting response after the Australian newspaper mocked him

Ashes 2023: Stokes claims it can’t be him and tweeted that he never bowls the new ball.

London: The Australian and UK media have been working overtime since the start of the Ashes. After Australia beat England by 43 runs in the second Test at Lord’s, an Australian daily mocked the England cricket team, labeling them ‘crybabies’ with a picture of Ben Stokes next to a newball. Stokes, who is also active on social media, may have come across the photo and caption. The English captain responded. Stokes claims it can’t be him and tweeted that he never bowls the new ball.
