Isabelle Lux (@isabelle.lux), who has 566,000 followers on TikTok, couldn’t be happier.

“These ten hair secrets have made my hair so long, shiny and healthy,” she said in her after.

She knows what it’s like to have a head of hair that she would rather tuck away.

“I have naturally frizzy, dry and damaged hair. It’s also curled and bleached, so trust me, I know what I’m talking about,” she wrote.

1. HAIR BRUSHES

She said this was one of the “biggest game changers and I’ve never heard anyone talk about it.”

You’ll need more than one brush depending on how oily or clean your hair is.

“So if my hair is super clean for the first two or three days, I always use my clean hairbrush, and that keeps it shiny, silky, and tangle-free,” she said.

“But when my hair starts to get greasy, I always switch to bamboo,” she added.

She had one last tip: wash your brushes at least once a week.

2. RED LIGHT THERAPY FOR THINNING HAIR

It has worked for her on the thinner parts of her hair.

“If you notice areas where your hair is balding, use red light on them,” she said.

“Studies have shown that red light therapy can actually regrow hair, which is the most amazing thing,” she wrote.

But she had words of comfort for those who don’t have access to a red light tool. Use hair growth drops.

3. DROPS FOR HAIR REGROWTH

Hair growth drops are “amazing,” she said.

“I use them a few times a week and they can really help regrow hair. They are so underrated,” she added.

4. SILK SCRUNCHIE

She thought a silk scrunchie would help prevent hair damage and be kinder to your hair.

“When you see all that hair growing, you need a silk scrunchie. The bigger the better. It will help your hair tremendously.”

She admitted to sleeping in hers.

5. HAIR DRYING CLOTH

She had heard of these and always thought they were ‘bulls**t’, but not anymore.

“I swear when I started using this, my hair became much silkier and healthier,” she said.

“When you get out of the shower, wear this,” she wrote.

6. DIT DRY SHAMPOO

Ditch the dry shampoo, she said, and try something else instead. It worked better for her.

“I use a powder instead. I love them. They are a bit old fashioned but you rub them into your scalp and it absorbs all the oil. I found they worked a lot better,” she wrote.

7. SCALP PRE-CLEANSING OIL

This was the ultimate game changer for her.

“It makes your hair so silky and shiny when you get out of the shower,” she said.

8. LEAVE IN CONDITIONER

This was a stage you should never miss.

“Never skip a leave-in conditioner. It will leave your hair so silky and healthy all week long,” she said.

9. SILK PILLOWCASE

A silk pillowcase or a satin hat is an absolute must, she thought.

“If you don’t sleep in it, you should,” she said.

“If you can’t afford a silk pillowcase, you can buy a satin hat. But if it’s a pillowcase, it has to be silk,” she added.

10. SCALP MASSAGER

Stimulate those hair follicles with a massager, she advised, and use a hair gua sha tool.

“It stimulates hair growth and it can also be very anti-aging,” she said.

“It’s very important to relieve tension in your scalp at least once a week. I try to do it a few times a week,” she said, concluding her top ten tips.
