Why Parents Are Obsessed With This Little Detail in an Old Bluey Episode: ‘I Showed It to Everyone I Know’

Bluey fans are obsessed with the “little details” that make the show’s Heeler family so “recognizable” after seeing a resurfaced scene of Bluey and Bingo sitting in the backseat of the car.

In the clip, the two pups sit in their car seats with mischievous looks on their faces as they prepare to be dropped off at their nanna’s.

But fans are more focused on the state of the family car than the dialogue, which shows crumbs all over the seat, a piece of chalk on each side of the car and a half-empty sticker sheet tossed between the two children.

The stickers are placed on the back of the middle seat and there is a water bottle dumped near Bingo’s seat.

A mother posted the screenshot to a popular mom group and said it made her feel appreciated.

“As a mother of 3 children, ages 1 to 8, I really appreciate the intention to make Bandit and Chilli’s house look lived in,” she wrote.

‘But then I see that their backseat looks like ours. In one episode, I saw dirty laundry spread across the laundry room, or a plate of leftover blueberries under the couch,” she added.

The mother further said that she feels the show not only entertains children but also benefits their caregivers.

“It heals, educates and affirms parents,” she said.

And thousands of parents agreed as more than 40,000 people clicked ‘Like’ on the post.

“That backseat made me happy when I first saw it,” said one mother.

“By seeing the backseat of the car I knew I loved this show,” another agreed.

“I’m watching this show with my daughter,” said a third.

“It’s the most authentic I’ve ever seen a family portrayed and that’s why I love it.”

Others said the fact that it reaches “everyone,” young or old, is what makes it so powerful.

“This show is accurate in many ways, shows positive parenting and shows us that it is okay to make mistakes and change our behavior. It is the only program of its kind. It gives a voice to all families and individuals in those families.”

Many of the parents who commented said they “learned real life lessons” while watching the show.

Others revealed that this is the only children’s show they can watch without being bored.
