One savvy shopper took to a bargains and coupons page on Facebook to share the news.

He excitedly wrote: “Boots is currently offering up to 50% OFF select fragrances, featuring household names like BOSS, Marc Jacobs, DKNY, Giorgio Armani and more!

“With many options to choose from.”

Boots customers can treat themselves to half off popular perfumes such as Cerruti 1881 Femme Eau de Toilette, Marc Jacobs Dot Eau de Parfum or Emporio Armani She Eau de Parfum – to name just a few.

Men are pampered with the luxury of Emporio Armani Diamonds for Men Eau de Toilette, Ralph Lauren Polo Blue Eau de Parfum, Montblanc Explorer Eau de Parfum and much more with a 50 percent discount.

The list of heavily reduced items includes items from Ghost, Rabanne, Issey, Lancôme and Vera Wang.

If you want to get your hands on the Lancôme La Vie Est Belle Iris Absolu Eau de Parfum, head straight to boots.

The 50ml perfume bottle has been halved to just £50 from £100.

And Boots is giving away a free Lancôme Lait Galatée Confort 200ml if you buy three Lancôme products, although one of them must be a skincare product.

All of these deals are available both online and in stores, although some reports suggest that some discounts are better online.

It is currently unclear how long the sale will last, so customers are warned to act quickly to avoid disappointment.

If you’re still wondering where to get other designer perfumes for cheap, we revealed them all last week.

High street retailer Debenhams currently has the best deal on the Prada Paradoxe Eau De Parfum, slashing the price by 20%.

The price of the 30ml fragrance has dropped from £69 to just £55.20, while other retailers such as The Perfume Shop charge a minimum of £65 for the same bottle.

Several retailers are currently having great deals on designer perfumes this week and you might even be able to find some great dupes.

Like Warm Neroli from M&S – which is said to be similar to Paco Rabanne’s classic Lady Million, only it’s £50 cheaper.

M&S’s spicy scent costs just £6 per 30ml, while the Paco Rabanne costs £56.

Combining spicy freshness with woody accents, the dupe has notes of neroli and bergamot combined with a musky base to create an uplifting scent.

Secrets of a perfume insider

Noemie Maury shared perfume insider secrets

“High street chains can make perfumes cheaply by purchasing them from large fragrance manufacturers who grow their own ingredients in-house,” says Noemie.

“Because they use oils from flowers they grow themselves instead of importing ingredients, they save on costs and can create fragrances for well-known brands at a reduced price.”

While this keeps costs down, it means that the range of ingredients used in cheaper perfumes can be limited.

Noemie explains that the main scent in budget perfumes can also come from just one or two strong but relatively inexpensive ingredients, such as vanilla.

It means they may lack the depth and complexity of more expensive brands that use a wide variety of pricier ingredients.

Because the scent, names and bottle shapes of branded perfumes are copyrighted, cheaper brands cannot produce exact replicas.

But they can also make budget versions that smell the same – these are described as ‘inspired by’ a popular brand scent.
