Golden West Brewing Co collapses: Award-winning brewery goes into voluntary management

An award-winning brewery has gone into voluntary administration after the company fell into financial difficulties.
Perth-based Golden West Brewing Co went bankrupt and the company was forced to lay off staff mid-shift last Wednesday.
Administrators kept the brewing team working solely to process the beer already in the tanks so the drink could be packaged and sold.
Golden West was founded in Leederville in Perth’s inner west in 2021 by a group of five schoolmates.
The company’s website informed beer lovers that their location has been temporarily suspended, but consumers can still purchase beverages by contacting them directly.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Golden West Brewing Co for comment.
A source close to the company told Perth Now that cost of living pressures left the company with no choice but to close.
