Brian Guntrip has only been playing for six months but has an eye on the treble 20.

Miss mum Corinne has a board at home and said: “I used to play with my dad, but I was never any good. But Brian’s best score is 100.

“His way of playing darts is excellent.”

Brian added: “I like getting bulleyes and treble-20s.

“I would like to become a professional darts player and become world champion.”

Brian Ivey has coached the youngster at Paignton Darts Academy in Devon and said: “He is a great little player. If he continues, he can do well.

“We play on a lower board height-wise and a shorter oche, but it gets in and around the treble-20s.

“He started around October, but had been watching his parents play darts at home since he was three.

“His heroes are Michael Smith and Stephen Bunting.

“Brian would love to become a darts player. He has great enthusiasm and comes as often as possible.”

Sensation Luke has spoken of playing darts at the age of four and winning his first senior title at the age of 14.
