The woman has been scouring the internet for budget-friendly ideas for her wedding, and she claims she recently hit the jackpot.

She wondered whether it was a good idea to hire a clown to perform at the reception, and gave her arguments on a wedding planning forum.

“Has anyone been to a wedding with clown entertainment during cocktail hour?” she asked. 'My fiancé and I want to do something stylish, yet unique and fun.

'We don't have the biggest budget, but his cousin performs at children's birthday parties. I think it's such a nice idea and also budget-friendly.'

Several people suffer from coulrophobia, a fear of clowns, and may have negative reactions to the entertainment.

Many immediately condemned the bride for her 'traumatizing' idea – and a few said they would 'take it' [their] presents back and leave'.
