But as house prices skyrocket and waiting lists for social housing lengthen, most of us have to make do with what we have.

Carly, a mother of three teens, did just that and more after her boys had just about had enough of fighting over games, controllers, and space.

She explained: 'They were arguing about the TV, games, the computer and stuff like that.

After reaching the end of her life, this mother decided to build an extra bedroom to divide her teenage boys and provide them with their own space.

In a clamp shared on TikTok the smart mother (@Carlychristinex) shares her bedroom creation and her followers are impressed by her initiative.

“Where did you get the partition?” they asked.

To which she replied, “I made it!”

Carly's followers are amazed at how she turned this brilliant idea into reality for under £100, and many are inspired to do the same to utilize the space in their own home.

Carly starts her video complaining about the laundry basket overflowing with the boy's laundry and continues to share with her followers what gave her the brilliant idea to create another room space.

“Of course we would all like another bedroom, but I don't have one, so I had to make do with what we actually have.”

This clever mum designed and installed another bedroom space by using a large piece of plywood to divide the boys' room in two, all for just under £100.

The dividing wood is almost as high as the bedroom ceiling, giving her teenage boys their own space and privacy.

Not only that, they both mounted their own TVs on each side of the wooden partition to avoid bickering over the controller.

In a previous one clamp followers can see the process of how she did it and what materials she used.

One troll accused the smart mum of lying about her expenses because it looks so good. On another TikTok clamp Carly gives her answer.

She says, “What would be the point of lying?”

The savvy mum goes on to share other money-saving tips, such as using leftover paint and nails to fit into her £100 budget.

With almost 7K likes, most followers were impressed with how professional her new bedroom creation turned out to be.

One commenter said: “Fantastic idea! And your boys are spotless.”

Another said: “I love how you divided the room, great idea!”
