Cadbury is making a big change to chocolate bars, which will make the sweet treats look very different.

In celebration of its 200th anniversary, the chocolate company will be bringing back seven of their most quintessential Dairy Milk designs from the last century.

Sweet-toothed customers can wrap up confectionery with designs dating back to 1915.

All major supermarkets will sell the 180g chocolate bar for £2, but prices may vary depending on the store.

To celebrate its 200th anniversary, Cadbury is bringing back seven iconic packaging designs

The party bars are only available for a limited time and once they sell out they will not be restocked.

So anyone who wants to get one of the seven memorable designs should act quickly.

Cadbury’s was purchased in 2010 by Mondelez International, formerly known as Kraft.

Brand manager Bryony Tate said: “We are really looking forward to celebrating 200 years of Cadbury belonging to our country this year.

‘We hope the launch of our limited edition Cadbury Dairy Milk Bar pack will put a smile on people’s faces, with the seven retro designs offering something for everyone.’

She continued: ‘From the thrill of a small treat shared with a loved one, to special occasions and even getting the whole country excited for important cultural events such as Royal Coronations and the London Olympics, Cadbury has been part of our nation for 200 years.

‘But really it’s thanks to the whole British public that Cadbury is still here. We’re planning an exciting year with many more announcements to come, so stay tuned!’

The iconic designs will not only be visible on the outside; Eagle-eyed customers will be able to spot works of art commemorating momentous events in Cadbury’s history.

The chocolate company will also hand over £200,000 to the charity, according to the company The sun.

It comes after chocolate fans who bought a box of Cadbury’s Heroes complained that the Creme Egg Twisted snacks had a strawberry flavour.

One person contacted the pastry chef directly, claiming the usually sweet miniature crème egg treat was “totally strawberry flavored.”

They asked the chocolate company how this could happen and said it was ‘disappointing’.

Another X user wrote: ‘Why isn’t it Twisted and strawberry flavoured? They’re mean, yikes, they’re my favorites, you ruined Christmas!’

One frustrated customer continued: ‘Why the hell did Cadbury’s replace the Twisted Creme Egg in the box of heroes? It is not the same that I rage.”

MailOnline has contacted Cadbury for comment.

The Heroes selection was first introduced by the company in September 1999 and has since developed into a confectionery staple in Britain.

The tin is filled with miniature versions of classic Cadbury treats, including the Creme Egg Twisted chocolate.

Like the original Creme Egg, the little treat is filled with a sticky fondant and is only available in the Heroes selection.

Twisted bars were once sold as individual chocolate bars, but were discontinued by Cadbury.
