Camilla Thurlow reveals her daughter Nora just started crawling at 20 months old as she talks about the challenges her slower development brings

Camilla Thurlow has revealed that her 20-month-old daughter Nora has just started crawling when she opened up about the problems with her slower development.

The former Love Island star, 34, took to Instagram on Thursday to mark the exciting milestone for Nora, while also admitting she is experiencing 'self-doubt and worry' about her little one's timeline.

The NHS website states that babies usually start crawling around seven to 10 months and that most babies can walk by 18 months of age.

In her post, Camilla thanked NHS health visitors for supporting her development on the 'long journey' and also shared how Nora received physio.

Camilla – who is currently pregnant with her third child – shares Nora and eldest daughter Nell, three, with her husband Jamie Jewitt who she met on the show in 2017.

She wrote in her post: 'Last week was a big week for our Nora, who crawled for the first time at 20 months.

'This has been a long journey for her, but she has the sweetest temperament and way of dealing with the challenges that come her way – she is always so happy to see other children running and playing around her, and somehow so content with whatever toys are within her reach.

'Actually, the only time she gets really frustrated is when she wants to come and cuddle with us ❤️. Seeing all her months of hard work pay off and how proud she is of herself is just the best thing ☺️!'

She continued, “I don't think I'm the only one who says that parenting a baby on their own timeline can sometimes come with self-doubt and worry.

“I've often wondered if maybe I was doing things wrong, or if I worried about my ability to help Nora in the right way for her.

'I am so grateful to the NHS Health visitors who have visited and supported us, ensuring Nora has been referred to all the people she needs to see, and to Nora's lovely nursery for helping to support us with her physio on the days that she is sick. in.

'And of course thanks to big sister Nell, who is Nora's biggest cheerleader, loves to help cheer her on and has shown so much patience when we are juggling both of their needs.'

She signed off her post with the words: 'So proud of you our dear Nora, the sky may be the limit but all in your own time and with a smile on your face. That's all that matters to us and we'll always be here to help you find your way to where you want to go.”

When Camilla announced the exciting news of her third pregnancy in December, Camilla shared a video on Instagram revealing that they are expecting a baby boy.

In the sweet clip, their two daughters Nell and Nora learned how to become big sisters to a little brother.

Nell wore glasses as she taught Nora “Big Sister 101” on a chalkboard, which read: “With brand new module 'Boys'.”

The words also revealed that Camilla was due in May 2024, and the two girls looked excited as they looked at the ultrasound photos.

Camilla beamed as she hugged Nell and Jamie jokingly gestured to the board with a pointer.

Captioning the adorable video for Hall & Oates' You Make My Dreams, Camilla wrote: 'Our sweet girls are getting a baby brother!

“Happy to share that our little family is growing, baby boy is due in Spring 2024, it's going to be a busy house!”

Camilla and Jamie are one of Love Island's biggest success stories after they met on the ITV2 dating show and came second to Amber Davies and Kem Cetinay.

The former bomb disposal expert admitted this was “the most amazing” and “unexpected” thing, saying:I can't ignore the fact that this has been the most amazing and unexpected thing, and a good reminder that it's impossible to predict what an experience it will bring to your life, you will be surprised.”

The couple announced they were expecting their first child together in May 2020, and welcomed Nell Sophia into the world in October.

Camilla gave fans a glimpse of the ring designed by Jamie as she said: 'The most perfect ring that only the person who knows me the best could design for me ❤️'

She added: '@jamiejewitt_ only you could totally surprise me and at the same time be exactly the amazing person I know and love. What a perfect evening with these two, my future husband and our sweet Nell.'

The couple then married at Gosfield Hall in Essex in September 2021, with co-star Marcel Somerville in attendance.

The couple announced they were expecting their second child together on Instagram in December that year, writing: “We had an early gift this year and we couldn't be more grateful… 3 soon 4, June 2022,” followed by a slew of celebratory emojis.

They shared a heartwarming video with their delighted followers, set on The Drifters' White Christmas, which started with Jamie and little Nell making gingerbread balls.

Camilla was then filmed writing their names on four separate gingerbread men with a gold pen, accompanied by their birth year.

As the assembly progressed, the couple hung the creations on their beautiful Christmas tree with gold hooks, with the toddler even getting a helping hand from her loving parents.

Their unborn child was marked with a question mark, followed by 'June 2022.'
