ADD DRAMA: Create your own puppet theater by recycling an old cardboard box. Use the sides of the box as a stage front and cut out a stage opening. Fold paper concertina style to make curtains.
Then encourage your children to make their own paper dolls using paper bags, construction paper and other craft supplies. They can perform their own puppet shows, bringing their imaginations to life.
FACE MASK: Turn plain paper plates into a work of art with some simple tricks. Make simple animal masks by cutting out holes for the eyes and mouth. Then use paint or pens to create your child's favorite animal.
