FELLOW foodies with a sweet tooth are in panic after a popular supermarket slashed the prices of chocolate bars to 26p.

According to money-saving foodies, you can now get your hands on cult-favorite chocolate bars, including Cadbury's Dairy Milk, for less than 30p – yes, really.

One delighted shopper, Isabella McCarthy, took to Facebook to let others know about the bargains at the popular store Tips, tricks and offers for shopping with yellow stickers.

The shopper revealed that for 26p you can bag a bunch of small chocolate bars from Co-op, saving you a fortune.

The incredible range includes some much-loved sweet treats, such as Buttermilk Caramel Nougat, which retails elsewhere for £1.60.

According to Isabella's messageyou can also buy a Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate Buttons Bag, which usually costs around £1.65, as well as the popular Reese's Peanut Butter Nut Bar, which goes for 95p at Sainsbury's.

Other chocolates in the sweet deal include Cadbury Picnic bar, Snickers and Cadbury Dairy Milk bar with nuts.

Since being shared on the platform, the post has racked up dozens of likes and comments, with people struggling to believe the low prices.

“Take the lot, it's chocolate,” someone advised.

Someone else said: 'The chicken coop garage in my town has just closed and is reopening as Asda.

''Maybe worth another look at yours for further discounts, in case it changes hands too!''

“Prices from 1980,” said another.

“Those Rolos would come home with me,” one foodie chuckled.

“Take some picnics, girl,” one member of the group begged.

Speaking of sweet treats, shoppers are rushing to M&S after finding limited edition Colin the Caterpillar cakes – and he even has a Valentine.

The adorable lovebug has had a little makeover, with his chocolate shell encrusted with pink and white hearts – and foodies can't get enough of the adorable transformation.

According to the brand, the cute cakes cost £6.50 – perfect for a little treat for your partner, or for Galentine's.

Those who aren't fans of the creepy crawlies don't have to miss the festival of love, as the supermarket has several Valentine's Day-themed sweets in store.

This includes some aptly named 'cheeky chocolates', with the limited edition chocolates shaped like various saucy emojis.
