CHELSEA are reportedly prepared to take a huge loss on Kepa Arrizabalaga.
The world's most expensive goalkeeper is currently on loan to Real Madrid as he was signed as cover for the injured Thibaut Courtois.
The 29-year-old Arrizabalaga has failed to establish himself as first choice under Carlo Ancelotti.
The Spaniard played regularly after his initial arrival, but an abductor injury in November saw him left on the bench for Andriy Lunin.
Spanish outlet Sport has claimed that the LaLiga giants need a reliable stopper to replace Courtois.
Ancelotti is currently deciding between Kepa and Lunin on a match-by-match basis.
Chelsea are keen to get the loanee off his wages and the report has suggested his price has fallen dramatically.
The Blues are said to be set to sell the former Athletic Bilbao player for just £21 million.
This is €50 million less than £71.6m that they paid for the goalkeeper in 2018.
Real Madrid do not want to rush into a decision on Kepa and hope that Courtois will be back from injury at the end of the season.

The former Chelsea star suffered a torn cruciate ligament injury in August and left training in tears.
The Belgian has won eight trophies since joining Real Madrid for £35million in 2018, including the Champions League and two La Liga titles.
Chelsea signed Brighton and Hove Albion goalkeeper Robert Sanchez in the summer as Kepa's replacement.
However, he has also suffered an injury that gave Đorđe Petrović a chance from Mauricio Pochettino.
