One child left fighting for life and a second seriously injured after a horror driveway accident in New Zealand

Two young children have been rushed to hospital, with one fighting for life, after being hit by a car in the driveway of a home in New Zealand.
Emergency services, including two rescue helicopters, were sent to Ailsa St in Te Kūiti, on the country’s North Island, shortly after 4pm on Wednesday afternoon.
Both children were airlifted to Waikato Hospital, with one in a serious condition and the other in a critical condition.
The child who was in a serious condition is now stable with minor injuries, while the other children remain critical.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
