In her videoMuna Nijmeh (@my_styled_living) demonstrated three of her favorite DIY hacks.

First, the Instagrammer showed her followers how to make her homemade cleaning paste.

“Mix equal parts baking soda and dish soap to make a paste,” Muna explained.

“Use this paste to scrub and remove soap scum in your bathroom or really anywhere in your home.”

She also used baking soda to tackle the scuffs on the doors of her home.

“Dip your damp sponge in some baking soda to remove the scuffs on all your doors,” Muna said as she demonstrated the trick.

Finally, she revealed how she uses housework to take her laundry to the next level.

“Throw away your fabric softener and add baking soda to your laundry for brighter and whiter towels,” she advised.

“Baking soda is so versatile, clean and effective,” she told her audience in the clip’s caption.

Cleaning tips for baking soda

  • Mix with equal parts dish soap and scrub the soap scum in your bathtub
  • Add to a damp sponge and wipe off streaks on doors
  • Add a scoop to brighten up your laundry
