Condom stuck on BJP flag: Trinamool Congress (TMC) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are not on good terms with West Bengal. Now a new controversy has erupted in the state.

A condom was found dangling from a BJP flag in West Bengal’s Jalpaiguri at a rally ahead of panchayat polls in the state. BJP Kisan Morcha District President Nakul Das filed a police complaint at the local police station. Following the complaint, the police removed the flag and an investigation was also launched.

The incident took place at the Shikarpur Tea Garden Depot of Jalpaiguri, where Alka Kujur is the BJP candidate. Alka Kujur has already filed a complaint with Belakoba Chowki. News of the incident spread like wildfire on social media platforms, causing an uproar.

BJP Kisan Morcha District President Nakul Das has accused the ruling TMC of affixing the condom to the saffron party flag, which he called an ugly act.

“I predict this based on their previous disgrace when their (TMC Youth Wing) leader Sayani Ghosh dressed Shivlinga with a condom,” Das said.

The BJP claimed it was a malicious act designed to discredit the party and undermine its reputation. Party spokesmen condemned the act, stating it was a deliberate attempt to tarnish the party’s image and create unnecessary controversy.

The incident is currently being investigated by local authorities to see if it was political sabotage or an attempt to draw attention to social issues related to sexual health and awareness.

Meanwhile, TMC leaders said the event was an example of the BJP’s backward approach to delicate issues such as sexual health and reproductive rights, demanding a full investigation and asking the BJP to address the bigger issues the episode had exposed. grab.

“This is deplorable behavior and our party abhors it. They attribute this incident to us, but we did nothing wrong. No flags may be broken down or anything may be hung from them. We are strongly against this behaviour. I don’t think our party members did it,” said Nayan Basak, TMC regional president.
