Palace's Glasner meeting collapsed when Roy offered to return to Everton

CRYSTAL PALACE supremo Steve Parish held a 'secret' meeting with Oliver Glasner in a London hotel hideout.

But when chairman Parish discussed the Palace job with the number 1 candidate on Friday evening, he was spotted by guests including the Sheffield Wednesday squad!

It was the first face-to-face meeting between Parish and Glasner and took place while Eagles boss Roy Hodgson was still in hospital.

Parish wanted Hodgson to take charge at Everton despite being forced to make a decision and appoint Glasner.
