Dermot Mulroney talks music, likes Paramore and My Chemical Romance
Dermot Mulroney is a rocker through and through.
“I was in an acoustic punk band called the Low & Sweet Orchestra and played Lollapalooza in 1995,” Mulroney, 60, reveals exclusively in We weekly's 25 Things You Don't Know About Me.
Although he is no longer on stage these days, the Everyone but you star still has a lot of pop punk and emo on its playlists. “I'm a big fan of Pierce the Veil, My Chemical Romance and Paramore,” he says Us. “See you at the When We Were Young Festival!”
Lest you question his punk rock sensibility, Mulroney tells us Us that as a child he was 'almost kicked out of three different music camps'.
Before he started headbanging, Mulroney was a classically trained cellist. He works on film scores in between acting gigs and plays cello on several soundtracks by a famous composer Michael Giacchinoincluded Rogue One, Spider-Man: Far From Home And Coconut.
He has even taught cello lessons in the past. “I once gave Joanne Woodward a cello lesson Paul Nieuwman was drinking beer,” he says.

1. I visited Machu Picchu during the summer solstice. On my son's 19th birthday, we witnessed the sunrise casting light through the tower window to a spot right in the middle of the floor.
