Emma Villaneda (@thecraftedstudioco) made a two-foot tall Easter Bunny out of moss and other money-saving finds from the Dollar Tree.

She started her project by visiting the store’s party section, where she picked up two large and two medium bowls with wavy details.

She then found some floral foam before moving on to the hair section.

Instead of settling for simple ribbons, her decor called for two scrunchies with bows.

After all, just because she had a limited budget didn’t mean her rabbit couldn’t be a spark plug.

Some moss and a bunny face mask with ears were also needed.

When you get home, you can put your DIY skills to the test by adding some E600 and hot glue to the rim of the large bowls and then gluing them together.

This process is then repeated with the medium-sized bowls before gluing them onto the larger bowls – and just like that, your rabbit’s body is complete.

I made beautiful Easter baskets for my children using Home Bargains purchases – the basket cost £2.50 which wasn’t the best deal

If you can’t find domed foam, you can simply round off your cube-shaped variety and glue it to the very top.

Emma then removed the ears from her bunny mask and glued them into her floral foam.

Her bunny was also about to get a major moss-covered makeover once she got her hands on a hot glue gun.

Not one to take risks, she sprayed her bunny with hairspray to keep the moss in place before using the scrunchies as a bow tie.

She seemed more than pleased with her ‘cute’ creation which was ideal for both ‘indoor and outdoor decoration’.

To keep your rabbit from jumping (or blowing away) when you want to put him outside, she suggested putting a weight in the large bowls.

Her fellow DIYers were also impressed with how the project came together – and some even had their own tips.

“I love it! You can also spray paint it a pastel color if you don’t like green. So creative!” said one follower.

“What a great idea! It would be so cute in pastel colors,” she replied.

“I never thought of just looking for hairpieces with ribbon sections. That’s a great idea and they have really nice hairpieces. Thank you,” said a third onlooker.
