DONALD TRUMP received a deafening cheer as he arrived for UFC 299.
The 45th President of the United States was at the Kaseya Center on Saturday evening to attend the promotion’s second trip to Miami in as many years.
Trump made a somewhat subdued entrance to the arena shortly after the main card’s first fight concluded.
He was flanked by Secret Service agents and UFC supremo Dana White as he made his way to his chair at the cage.
And he was greeted by huge cheers from fans when he appeared on the big screen.
Kid Rock’s “American Badass” blared from the speakers as the 77-year-old made his entrance.
Faint chants of “USA, USA, USA” then began to echo through the arena.
Fight fans watching at home were quick to comment on the raucous reception he received, with one person writing on X: “Holy Donald Trump in the house for UFC 299.”
Another said: “DONALD TRUMP WENT TO UFC 299 WITH DANA WHITE.
And another said: “We got a Donald Trump UFC 299 Walkout before GTA 6.”
One noted: “Donald Trump has officially entered the UFC 299 environment.
“A serious privilege for UFC fans and organizers alike.”
Another chimed in: “Donald Trump is ready for UFC 299 and everyone is going crazy. Bruh gangsta.”
Trump is no stranger to UFC events, having attended UFC 295 and UFC 296 in New York and Las Vegas last November and December respectively.
UFC President and CEO White has been friends with Trump for more than two decades and has previously spoken on his behalf at Republican National Conventions
When thinking back to one of his RNC speeches, White told Tucker Carlson, “This man has been so good to me it’s inexplicable.
“He has been a very good friend to me since the day I met him.
“When we bought this company there was such a bad stigma attached to it and the sport that we couldn’t even get to the venues, they didn’t want us.
“Donald Trump saw that this thing could potentially be big, and besides, he’s a sportsman who loves sports, and he offered us to come do the event at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City.
“He gave us a very fair deal and we went there and did two events with him, where he showed up for the first fight and stayed until the last fight.
“Imagine: the Trump brand is way up, the UFC brand is way down, but he took us and he was great.
“Everything that happened to me after that day in my career, the first guy to reach out and congratulate was Donald Trump, whether it was a letter or when we were on the cover of the New York Times.
“He said, ‘I always knew you would do it, Dana, congratulations.’ And he sent me the paper, he sent me a pen once to congratulate me.
“He always sends something to congratulate you; a man who is genuinely happy about your success.”
