Elisabeth Moss was hard at work on the set of her upcoming sci-fi thriller Shell when she was spotted on Wednesday.

The 41-year-old actress was spotted chatting with some crew members while en route to her destination.

She dressed casually before filming began, sporting a similar look to the other times she’s been seen on set in recent days.

The new thriller reunites Elisabeth with her former Handmaid’s Tale co-star Max Minghella, who this time works behind the scenes as Shell director.

Walking around the set, the film and television star looked relaxed in a simple baggy black hoodie.

She paired it with loose-fitting black sweatpants, and on the chilly morning, she added another layer with a thick black coat.

Elisabeth stuck to the monochrome theme with casual black sneakers with white accents.

She contrasted her muted ensemble with her beautiful blonde hair, which hung in thick locks over her shoulders.

The Mad Men star appeared to be dressed modestly and had one of her hands full with her phone and a yellow metal water bottle tucked under her arm.

Few details about Shell have been released, but it was described as a film set in a near future where society has become even more obsessed with expanding youth and beauty.

Elisabeth plays a struggling actress who gets a free trial at Shell, a health and beauty company that has created a revolutionary new process to make its customers look years younger than their actual age, according to Deadline.

Shell’s treatment helps make the actress a star and leads to a new friendship with the company’s beautiful CEO (played by Kate Hudson), but she begins to fear a terrible fate awaits her after some of the High-profile Shell customers are starting to disappear. , including a social media influencer (Kaia Gerber).

The film marks Max’s second feature film, after previously directing the drama Teen Spirit, which starred his ex-girlfriend Elle Fanning.

Shell is the latest in a series of thrillers in which Elisabeth has starred, including the early pandemic-era hit The Invisible Man, Jordan Peele’s horror blockbuster Us and the arthouse psychological thriller Shirley, in which she played a fictionalized version of The Haunting Of Hill . House writer Shirley Jackson.

Her latest film, Taika Waititi’s sports comedy Next Goal Wins, starring Michael Fassbender, received mixed reviews and underperformed at the box office.

Elisabeth has been flying under the radar in recent months and prior to her recent sightings on the Shell set, she had not been seen in England in May while working on the set of the FX series The Veil.

Other upcoming projects she has on the horizon include Barry Levinson’s Francis And The Godfather, in which she will play Francis Ford Coppola’s wife, filmmaker Eleanor Coppola, who is best known for directing the documentary Hearts Of Darkness : A Filmmaker’s Apocalypse, chronicling the stressful and disastrous production of her husband’s masterpiece Apocalypse Now.

Elisabeth will work with Max again in the future, as she will star in a sixth and final season of the hit series, which is expected to return in 2024.
