TESLA CEO Elon Musk says his ketamine use is good for investors.
The billionaire says he has a recipe from ‘a real one doctor‘ and uses ‘a small amount once every two weeks’.
Speaking to journalist Don Lemon, he said it helped manage “a negative chemical state in my brain, like depression”.
He added: “From a Wall Street standpoint, it’s about execution.
“For investors, if I take something, I have to keep taking it.”
Ketamine is primarily used as an anesthetic, but is being investigated as a treatment for depression.
Musk told Lemon he first mentioned it X/Twitter last year because he thought “maybe this is something that could help other people”.
Elon was caught up earlier this week into more controversy.
Musk jumped to presidential candidate Donald Trump’s defense after the politician was called out on X.
MSNBC host Joe Scarborough posted a short clip of a Trump speech on the social media platform, adding scathing criticism of the Republican presidential candidate.
‘Donald Trump’s America. And he is proud of it,” the presenter wrote in his Message from March 16.
“He has promised another ‘bloodbath’ if he loses,” Scarborough continued.
Musk, also the owner of X, quickly came to Trump’s defense and commented on the post.
“January 6 was not a ‘massacre’ by any definition,” he began
“And Trump was referring to job losses in the auto industry when he used that word. Your message is extremely misleading,” Musk accused.
The next day he continued his support, to post a hateful subtweet on March 17, calling out Scarborough.
“Easy to tell who is an NPC these days,” he captioned one meme.
