A funeral director at the center of a major police fraud investigation blows cover.
Robert Bush, 46, had been grounded since he was arrested and interrogated for 48 hours, along with his daughter Saskya, 23.
But The Sun tracked him down to an address in East Yorkshire.
He emerged to walk the dogs and was pictured deep in conversation with an unknown woman.
We asked him if he had any comments for the families involved in the investigation.
He quickly pulled his hood over his baseball cap and stormed into the building, telling us, “I have nothing to say.”
Bush and his daughter were arrested on suspicion of preventing lawful burial and fraud.
Police has collected 35 bodies and ashes from his Legacy Funeral Homes in Hull.
They suspect that family members have been charged for cremations that never took place.
The case has led to calls for more regulation.
Julie Dunk, from the Institute of Cemetery and Crematorium Management, said: “Anyone can become a funeral director with no supervision or training.”
