Missing his sister greatly, Aviv Havron arrived at Shoshan’s house with 200 burgers and a ceramic pot.

He told the local newspaper: “This is all that’s left of Shoshan’s house.

“The terrorists detonated the house with explosives after kidnapping Shoshan and nine other members of her family.”

Shoshan founded Fair Planet, an internationally renowned agricultural project that has enabled thousands of previously impoverished farmers to earn a good living while providing a reliable food source to a million Africans.

After she, like her life, was taken hostage, the organization was in danger.

She studied plant biology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Rutgers University in New Jersey and has since built an impressive career at Hazera Genetics.
