A video showing the late queen appearing overcome with emotion following the 2019 wedding of Lady Gabriella Windsor and Thomas Kingston, whose death at the age of 45 was announced on Tuesday, has resurfaced.

The emotional video shows the late queen, who died in September 2022, wiping away a tear of joy as she saw off the happy couple five years ago, with Prince Philip by her side, outside St George’s Chapel in Windsor.

Mr. Kingston sudden death at the age of 45 has sent shock waves through the world Royal family.

The music video is a cheerful tribute to both the couple and the late monarch, who wore a striking pink suit to the wedding, which took place on May 18, 2019.

Waiting patiently outside Windsor’s famous chapel after the couple’s wedding, the late queen is seen standing with her late husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, with her sons Prince Andrew and Prince Edward also in view.

After the couple drives past, the late monarch appears to wipe away a tear at the emotion of the wedding.

The wedding proved to be a joyous family moment for the Windsors, with Prince Harry also attending and taking time away from his then-newborn son Archie. And the guest list at Lady Gabriella’s wedding proved the royal family’s appreciation for her.

Other royals present for the couple’s big day included Sarah, Duchess of York, Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Marpelli Mozzi and Princess Anne.

The Middleton family were also out with guests from Kate’s parents Carole and Michael and sister Pippa – thanks to her long-standing friendship with the groom.

Dubbed at the time the ‘biggest society wedding of the year’, attendees included Julian Fellowes, known as the creator of the TV period drama Downton Abbey.

Prince Philip, who retired in May 2017, made a rare public appearance at the wedding in 2019, arriving at St George’s Chapel with Queen Elizabeth.

The Duke of Sussex also attended the wedding, just 12 days after the birth of Archie, his first son with wife Meghan Markle – and on the eve of their first wedding anniversary.

Kingston, the son-in-law of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, was found dead at his home on Sunday, February 25.

To further demonstrate the importance of this wonderful occasion, the royal family’s official website shared three official photos from the wedding day.

One of the photos was a family portrait showing the delighted queen and her beaming husband sitting together in front of other family members.

The radiant bride arrived at St George’s Chapel in a burgundy vintage car, accompanied by her father, Prince Michael of Kent.

She dazzled in an ivory lace dress by Italian designer Luisa Beccaria, with a boat neck, sheer embroidered sleeves and an A-line skirt.

Gabriella, known to her friends as Ella, wore a breathtaking six-metre veil, which was placed by the designer on the steps of the chapel.

Sadly, the couple would not be married for another full five years before Mr Kingston’s untimely death at the age of 45, which was announced by Buckingham Palace on Tuesday evening.

Mourners have paid tribute to an ‘exceptional’ and ‘enigmatic’ Mr Kingston following his shocking death.

The son-in-law of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent was found dead at an address in Gloucestershire on Sunday evening, with emergency services arriving on the scene shortly after 6pm.

Tributes have now been paid to the financier who survived a suicide bombing in 2004 and negotiated the transfer of hostages with bloodthirsty militias, saving countless lives.

An investigation will be conducted, but there are no suspicious circumstances and no other parties involved. Mr Kingston is survived by his father Martin Kingston KC, his mother Jill Mary Kingston and his sisters Joanna Connolly and Emma Murray.
