A MAJOR online beauty retailer has revealed it will close for good within WEEKS.

Beauty fans are saying goodbye to a beloved cosmetics retailer after almost twenty years.

Feel Unique was the destination for thousands of beauty and health products from hundreds of major brands.

The website offered an extensive range of skin care, makeup, hair care and fragrance products.

But shoppers will now have to take their baskets elsewhere as bosses have announced it will close forever.

A statement on the official website read: “After 19 years of Feelunique, we regret to say that we are closing.

“Since 2005, we have strived to provide you with a beauty space to call your own – a place where you can let your unique self shine.”

The major retailer has confirmed that it will officially say goodbye on April 3, 2024.

However, loyal customers only have a matter of weeks get it their products.

They added: “And we’re sad to go, but you can still shop all your favorites and use your existing vouchers until April 2, 2024.

“Thank you for sharing this journey with us. We loved every second of it, and we hope you do too.”

But all is not lost for makeup lovers.

Feel Unique previously announced that the store will be taken over by Sephora.

On October 17, the company became sephora.co.uk – with the brand’s unmistakable black and white stripes.

Sephora bought the online beauty retailer in September 2021 for a whopping £132 million.

Bosses confirmed the company will be owned by the French retailer steps to Great Britain for the first time.

Martin Brok, President and CEO of Sephora, said at the time: “The transaction is an important step in Sephora’s European growth strategy and marks a first step for Sephora’s presence in the United Kingdom.”

Shoppers can shop the best names in beauty, with a great line-up including Tarte Cosmetics, ILIA, Makeup by Mario, ONE/SIZE by Patrick Starrr, GXVE by Gwen Stefani, Skinfix, Vegamour and Sephora’s own Sephora Collection .

Sephora will also be launching their coveted Sephora app at the same time.

The app makes it easier than ever for shoppers to discover the country’s truly massive and unparalleled selection of premium brands, from makeup, fragrance, skin care, hair care and wellness.

It comes as Boots announced it was pulling down the shutters on three branches for the final time.

The closures are part of wider plans to reduce the retailer’s total number of stores from 2,200 to 1,900.

Elsewhere, thousands were left gutted The Body Shop is preparing to end major maintenance after 30 years.

The health and beauty retailer, which went bankrupt last week, is today ending its ‘At Home’ service for good.
