A makeup artist has shared her 30-second hack for an instant eye lift — and yes, it works on droopy eyelids.

Kaila Gibson assured women with sagging skin that there are ways to lift your eyes, as she always does with her clients.

Her professional mantra is to “help women feel put together in five minutes or less.”

Luckily, her instant eye lift for youthful eyeballs can be done in just seconds with a kohl pencil and a small blending brush.

“If you apply your eyeliner all the way to the edge and to the corner of your eye, when you already have droopy skin or eyes that tend to point downward,” Kaila began.

“What you’re going to do is essentially move your eyes further down.”

Instead, she suggested trying to achieve a “lifted effect” by using makeup to pull the outer corner of the eye upward.

In short, you will use the kohl pencil to create a wing for the illusion of lifted eyes.

“Yes, I know I’m not addressing this problem,” Kaila said before her class.

“But this is something I would do with my own clients.”

She has instructed you to draw a line across your upper eyelid, but stop where the eye begins to droop or the skin begins to sag.

And instead of pulling toward the corner, she instructed it to pull upward to create a wing effect.

“It doesn’t have to be fancy or anything because we’re going to use a little brush to get it all out,” Kaila said.

“If you have droopy eyes, you have to lift your skin a little bit to get around it – that’s typically what I have to do with some of my clients.

“A good rule of thumb is to move that color to the tail of your eyebrow.

“You can see I have more of this lifted effect.

“If you have the illusion of it being lifted, the focal point is raised upwards, rather than sinking down.”

The MUA assured that the eyeliner “doesn’t have to be perfect” or “a beautiful wing”.

“Simply smudging that eyeliner towards the tail of your brow is what will give it a lifted look.”
