If you're traveling in Delhi, Noida or Ghaziabad this week, we have an update for you. Traffic jams gripped the Delhi-Noida and Delhi-Ghaziabad borders due to the planned farmers' protest and heightened security measures implemented by the authorities.

There were massive traffic jams on the highways connecting Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad through Ghazipur and Chilla borders. Many people take the Ghazipur border road to go to Delhi from Noida.

There is a traffic jam on the DND viaduct. Interestingly, this flyover also connects Noida to South Delhi.

According to the latest reports, traffic is slow on NH-48, which connects Delhi and Gurugram.

To further prevent traffic jams, authorities have banned goods-carrying vehicles from entering Delhi via the Greater Noida Expressway.

The Ghaziabad, Kaushambi and Anand Vihar border also witnessed traffic jams.

At Tikri and Singhu borders, Delhi Police has installed multiple layers of barricades, barbed wire and concrete blocks to prevent farmers from entering the capital.
