THEY HAVE tried their luck with curry flavor and barbecued beans in the past.

But Heinz is hoping their latest venture will prove successful, after teaming up with Cathedral City on Cheesy Beanz.

The group New Food Spotter UK shared the first look at the beans on their TikTok page, writing: “OMG finally out in Tesco!”

They showed off the £1.80 cans on Tesco shelves before grabbing one to take home.

They then ran home and put the beans on the stove to cook.

As they turned them over, they said, “I can’t wait to try it. Smells so good!”

Then the review was in, and they added, “I absolutely love this one.

‘Surprised at how cheesy they are.

“Rich, strong cheese flavor.”

They added in the caption: “Heinz X Cathedral City = The BEST Collab.

“These are AMAZING!! Very strong cheese flavor!!”

People were quick to comment on the video, with one writing:
“Grate some cheese over beans = cheese beans.”

While Heinz confirms their beloved treacle sponge pudding will never return, here’s how to make your own

“We tried to compare both and prefer the Heinz!” the reviewer replied.

“You have to add a lot of cheese to get this strong cheese flavor!”

“Just extra processed,” said another.

“I just make it myself and I still have most of a block of cheese left.”

When they responded again: “We tried to compare both and prefer the Heinz cheese beans 10x!”

“We are so happy to see this marriage of flavors come to fruition,” Tesco wrote.

“We LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Fantastic collaboration,” replied the New Food Spotters.

“I like cathedral cheese, but not mixed with beans,” someone else insisted.

“I don’t know if I want to give up the cheese to bean ratio,” wrote another.

“Still, I’ll probably add more cheese,” someone else commented.

“We thought this, but I don’t think we can handle any more cheese, it’s VERY cheeeesy,” they replied.

“Nothing will top this in 2024!” another was delighted.

And others insisted they wouldn’t rush to try the beans.

“Disgusting, companies are running out of ideas!” one sighed.

“Who wants canned cheese?” another wrote.

“That’s disgusting! The effect of melted cheese certainly won’t occur!”

“Absolutely NOT,” raged a third.

“That’s reckless behavior,” someone else said.

“These are disgusting,” another insisted.
