FORTNITE is getting ready to release yet another update and while this may mean good news, it comes at a small price as thousands are experiencing issues.
It’s almost time for Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 to hit the map after a long wait and a spectacular live event – but fans will have to wait a while longer to play.
Gamers have since been dealing with downtime for Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 update v29.00 1am PT/ 3am ET/ 8am GMT on March 8, 2024.
The upcoming season, called Myths and Mortals, is expected to add new material to the game inspired by Greek mythology.
Ahead of the new season, several teases have been leaked, including possible new skins.
While Epic Games has no track record of confirming when the downtime will end, past events indicate it will be a few hours before the servers are up and running again.

Where to play Fortnite
Despite being banned from the app stores, the game can still be played on other consoles.
Fortnite is available online through the Epic Games website.
It is also available on Xbox Marketplace, PlayStation Store and Nintendo Switch.
