Fortnite’s latest update introduced strange earthquakes that shook the game’s Battle Royale island and caused cracks.

Since then, small earthquakes have occurred occasionally and players are wondering what will happen next.

Reliable leaks like FNAssist And Hypex posted about the cracks on Twitter/X and monitored the seismic activity in the game.

According to these trackers, 46 shocks are expected to occur in the coming days, some of which will cause new cracks on the island.

They expect shakes 9, 18, 27, 36, 45 and 46 to cause cracks, and for a Titan Hand to emerge after shake number 46.

Start time of the Fortnite Titan Hand event

After some confusion last night about the exact timing of these shakes, here’s the latest on when you can expect them:

  • Shake 9 – 4am UK time on March 1 / 11pm ET on February 29
  • Shake 6pm – 1pm UK time / 8am ET on March 1
  • Shake 27 – 10pm UK time / 5pm ET on March 1
  • Shake 36 – 7am UK time / 2am ET on March 2
  • Shake 45 – 4pm UK time / 11am ET on March 2
  • Shake 46 – 5pm UK time / 12pm ET on March 2

It is believed that an hour after the final shaking, the Titan Hand will emerge from the ground, so the event will begin March 2, 2024, 6:00 PM UK time / 1:00 PM ET.

Leaked footage of the Titan Hand event shows that when the hand emerges, players will have to shoot the chains.

When the chain’s health bar is lowered, the hand drops a Pandora’s Box and unleashes a fire tornado.

What happens next is still unknown, but the event is certainly a major one for Chapter 5, Season 2, which begins on March 8 and will have an Ancient Greek theme.

Recently, a ransomware group claimed to have stolen payment information from Fortnite players in an alleged hacker attack on publisher Epic Games.
