In a recent Instagram post, she revealed the £5 foundation she likes to blend into her skin tone for a your-skin-but-better effect.

“My husband told me to smile more in my photos so here goes,” the mother of two wrote in the caption.

“I wanted you to take a closer look at my almost 69 year old skin with this foundation.

“This is the Catrice Nude Drop Tinted Serum Foundation.”

Formulated with a liquid serum texture, the featherweight product is currently on sale for just £5 from beauty e-retailer Notino.

It costs £7.49 full price and can be purchased from the Catrice website.

“It makes your skin look better than it actually is,” continued Melissa from Tennessee, USA.

“It’s really superior to a lot of foundations that cost five times as much as this one.

“Seriously, considering the cost, it would be a shame not to try.”

Fans of the beauty influencer were quick to comment that she has “reverse aging” and that her skin “looks like porcelain.”

People think I’ve had Botox, but I’ve just been ‘grooming’ my way of aging – mist, mist, mist to erase fine lines

Catrice bosses confirmed that the bargain base “has a highly fluid, weightless and breathable formula”.

“It contains hyaluronic acid and vitamin E to provide 24-hour hydration,” they said.

“The specially coated pigments provide long-lasting hold and buildable, light to medium coverage for a radiant complexion with a natural matte finish.

“The formula is fragrance-free and suitable for sensitive skin.”

Earlier this year, anti-aging wonder Melissa shared the most controversial skincare hack she has.

She hasn’t moisturized “in this century” after training her skin to hydrate itself without lotions and potions.

She revealed that people who disagree with the practice tell her she is “absolutely wrong” about it.

That includes dermatologists, who encourage people to lather on a moisturizer twice a day to keep skin hydrated and nourished while combating dryness, flaking, and irritation.

Melissa turns 69 in April and is the proud mother of two children and seven grandchildren.
