Anyone born on February 29 will be offered a free ride on the London Eye this year – but be quick as tickets will only be given out to the first 100 applicants!

To get panoramic views of the city for free, all you need to do is go to the London Eye ticket hall on the South Bank and show ID (passport or driver’s license) to prove you were born on land. Leap day.

The offer only applies to people born on February 29, so if you want to go with friends or family, it is wise to book online in advance.

Free Original Glazed Dozen Donuts at Krispy Kreme (nationwide)

Today is your lucky day if you’re a leap year baby, because not only will you be treated to birthday cake — you can score not just one, but a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts!

Free burger at Almost Famous (England)

Almost Famous is offering a free delicious burger to anyone born on a leap day.

The burger chain has five locations across England, including Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds.

To claim your free burger, simply go to the nearest branch and show your ID.

Free pints at Society (Manchester)

If you live in the north of England and don’t fancy hopping on the train to take a free ride on the London Eye, fear not, because there’s an offer available in Manchester that might tempt you .
