Gal Gadot says ‘the world has failed the women of October 7’ and calls on the UN to demand that Hamas immediately release every female hostage because ‘they cannot survive another moment of this horror’

Hollywood actress Gal Gadot has called on the United Nations to demand the immediate release of every female hostage held by Hamas, claiming the world has failed them.

The 38-year-old actress has been consistently vocal about her support for Israel since Hamas attacked Israel eight weeks ago.

Referring to the deadly Hamas raid, she said in an Instagram post last night: “The world has failed the women of October 7.

“We claim that we oppose rape and violence against women.

“We will not allow women to be victimized and then silenced.

Ms Gadot’s post refers to 22-year-old Shani Louk, who was paraded in a Hamas video before a bone was found from the base of her skull three weeks after she was taken hostage.

Referring to the deadly Hamas raid, Ms Gadot posted her message on Instagram last night

“On October 7, the world witnessed Hamas carrying out its violent plans in real time. Within hours of the October 7 attack, the first blood-curdling video emerged of Shani Louk being paraded naked and defiled by her proud attackers.

“Two months later, women are still held hostage by these rapists and the world has failed to call this situation what it is: an urgent emergency that demands a decisive response.

“This is our moment to take action as women and allies of women. I implore all those who have done so much for women’s rights worldwide – from the UN to the human rights community, to join in the demand that Hamas immediately release every woman held hostage – not after the next round of international mediation, not after the next round of international mediation. after another day.
