Nour AlSaqqa, from Gaza City, documents her life during the war between Israel and Hamas. The New York Times last spoke to Ms. AlSaqqa when the war first broke out. She has since fled south to Rafah, the Gaza city on the territory’s southern border with Egypt, after Israel warned Palestinians to leave northern Gaza to avoid airstrikes.

“When I say we don’t have water, I want people to understand that we go days without drinking a single drop of water,” she said. “It’s that limited. She said she fears that if shortages of basic necessities continue, she will die.
