George Clooney has revealed how his twins with wife Amal have changed his life and reveals he has no plans to retire.
The Hollywood star, 62, shares twins Alexander and Ella, six, with the ‘domestic’ human rights lawyer, 45, who he married in 2014.
George recently directed biographical drama The Boys in the Boat and was interviewed on This Morning on Wednesday alongside Joel Edgerton, the film’s star.
The actor and director joked that life with his twins is “two against one.” He explained: ‘I don’t actually know if I’ll direct much anymore because it takes so much time and I have six-year-old twins!’
‘Is it two against one? It is! It’s difficult, my children speak fluent Italian and fluent French. And you know who doesn’t speak any of that! [gestures to himself] so it’s a disaster!’

George and Joel, 49, who have twins of their own, were asked if their children had a secret language, with George joking: ‘No, it’s Italian!’
As he continues to discuss the film, which follows the University of Washington rowing team, and their quest to compete in the 1936 Summer Olympics, George admitted, “Directing on water is tricky.
“I’ve done Perfect Storm, so trust me, I know what water is.” The Perfect Storm is a 2000 maritime disaster film in which George starred but did not direct. Mark Wahlberg also starred.
George continued: ‘We knew it was going to be difficult and rowing is one of the hardest things to do physically.’
The Boys in the Boat underperformed at the box office and failed to recoup its $40 million budget when it was released in the US in December.
But Joel sang George’s praises, saying: ‘He’s fantastic. I kept looking at him and thinking, ‘You should be in front of the camera for starters,’ and then the fact that he wasn’t supposed to care that much about the story.”
When asked if it was true that he was thinking about quitting acting, George stated: “I’m acting more now – I just did a movie with the beautiful boy Brad Pitt.”
