Glen Waverley fire: Flames erupt in a Blair Road home – months after a suspicious fire destroyed the adjacent property

A massive fire broke out in the same neighborhood as a suspicious blaze in April, and firefighters are doing their best to bring it under control.
Dramatic footage captured on Thursday afternoon shows the roof of a residential home on Blair Road in Glen Waverly, in Melbourne’s east, collapsing.
Victoria Fire Services were called to the single-storey wooden house at 1.30pm and remained at the scene.
For the second time this year, a massive fire has broken out at a house on Blair Street in Melbourne’s Glen Waverly Subrub
It is unknown what caused the fire to break out in the three-bedroom house, just months after a similar incident on the same road.
The house is within walking distance of both Glen Waverley Secondary College and a shopping centre.
On April 21, firefighters were called to a 40-foot-by-50-foot wooden house, which was set on fire under suspicious circumstances.
