I no longer hear a ‘clankety rattle’ from shoes in the dryer on my $1 load of laundry

A cleaning lady spilled the tea on her favorite purchase because she wanted to stop shoes causing a commotion in the dryer.

Her laundry hack will not only stop the noise shoes can make in the dryer, it won’t break the bank either.

Kristen (@southlandscape) filmed herself demonstrating the tip in a video on TikTok.

“There’s someone in your house who put their shoes in the dryer, and now all you hear is clink, clink, clink,” she said.

She pulled out her easier-on-the-ears solution: a mesh-like bag to put shoes in.

After securing the footwear in the bag, she hung it on the side of the dryer.

She said the purchase at Walmart for just $1.24 was a steal.

It can also be used to protect delicates from damage that can all too often occur in washing machines and dryers.

The video attracted many viewers who gave their two cents for the affordable hack.

One viewer gave her own advice on a free way to achieve the goal of dry shoes.

“Lol, just tie a nut in your shoelaces and hang them over the dryer door,” she said. “Functions perfectly.”
