HMS Prince of Wales leads an international fleet of 15 ships during a major NATO exercise.
The aircraft carrier, led by Swedish and Finnish fighter jets in formation, took part in Exercise Nordic Responder 24.
It was accompanied by HMS Portland, destroyer USS Paul Ignatius and Norwegian ships.
The units are participating in Exercise Nordic Response 24, a multi-domain exercise in the northern Scandinavian region, until Friday.
The UK Department of Defense say: “The CSG is practicing F-35B strikes to simulate the defense of allied territory while defending themselves.
“The ATG practices landing amphibious units on land to retake allied territory.”

Nations included in a series of recent war games include the Britain, United States, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Norway.
Belgium, DenmarkEstonia, Latvia, Netherlands, Portugal And Spain will also participate.
Exercise Nordic Response 24 is part of Practice being a steadfast defender 24, the largest NATO practice in decades.
