They discussed how Hojlund has settled into the club and life in Manchester, with the youngster just starting to find his feet and finding form in front of goal before suffering an injury.

But it appears some of his teammates did not appreciate him speaking to The United Stand, with claims the YouTube channel has criticized players in the past.

According to United We Stand magazine, Hojlund was confronted by teammates about talking to a channel “built on negativity and bashing United players”, which the Dane was unaware of.

Goldbridge shared his thoughts and said the club had every opportunity to stop the interview if they wanted to.

He tweeted: “Jealousy always seems to burn brightest on Sundays lol! So it took months to put that interview together.

“Everyone in the club was aware. The player and others were doing media on a training day in Carrington, we were there all morning. If anyone wanted to stop it they could do so.” [sic].”

He added in a video: “What this is is a suitable pile, it is to distract. It’s a distraction technique! And it probably comes from these players.

‘And the bottom line is that I no longer understand the world we live in.

“Even if a few United players weren’t happy with Rasmus before the interview, why do you think they weren’t happy with it? Because they’ve been criticized for not being very good.

“So United fans hear that and decide to side with the players who aren’t good enough, against fans who berate them for not being good enough. Welcome to the world.”

“So basically you’re going to side with players who aren’t good enough for United to try to cancel a lot of other United fans. I don’t understand that. It’s not even true.”

Goldbridge has previously come under fire for his criticism of the club and his attacks on players such as Harry Maguire.

Former United star Paul Parker criticized him a few months ago, accusing him of being a Nottingham Forest fan.

He said: ‘I don’t like what Mark Goldbridge is doing.

“It’s a problem. Everyone has to make a living, but you have to have a very, very thick skin to make money doing something you don’t like.

‘He has no relationship with it Man unitedhe is a Nottingham forest fan. It’s actually an incredible skill to do that… Making money doing something you don’t like.

“He attacks the club, the manager and the owners of a football club you don’t even like. He has no inner feeling for the club and it’s a scary but incredible feeling to have to be so invested in a club you don’t like. loves.” do not support.

“But that’s also what Man United is about. It’s a club with a huge story and it’s a story that everyone tries to tap into and be part of.”

“A lot of people make money thanks to Man United, but it’s madness. Firstly, they don’t support Man United and, to be honest, secondly, they don’t even like football.

“But it is a club that everyone wants to talk about and somehow it is possible to make money from it, despite not having any relationship with the club.”
