He said, “So I finished the radio show over an hour ago and I’m now spending my Saturday night by this car because people don’t know how to take care of dogs.”

Looking at a fluffy white dog in the front seat, Owen continued, “The poor dog barked his head off and has now calmed down. No windows [open].’

Owen then noticed another dog in the backseat locked in a small crate.

He said, ‘Those poor dogs, man, look at the ones in the back in that little cage. I don’t know how long this car has been there.

“I know it’s not that hot, so technically it’s not that bad, but it’s still bad, man. You can’t leave dogs in a car with no windows open.”

When the owner returns, Owen confronts him and says, “Bro, you left two dogs in there!”

Then the man replies: ”Yes, so what?”, before Owen informs him: ‘I called the police and RSPCA, no windows open. Look how sad they are, man.”

The man responds, “What’s your fucking problem, stop filming me,” before trying to take Owen’s phone from him.

Owen says, “Don’t touch me bro, I’m going to film you. Do you have a cage like that, no respect or apologies for the dogs?’

‘How long have you been here?’ the man then shouts, before Owen tells him he’s been there for two hours.

“F*** away!” the man shouts, before driving the wrong way out of the parking lot.

Owen calls after him: “Learn to look after your dogs, don’t leave them in the car for so long just because you want to go eat.”

Following the incident, the irate soap star shared a video of the exchange on his Instagram grid, writing: ‘I wasn’t going to post this but the lack of remorse and aggression towards me made me think I shouldn’t. get dogs if you don’t know how to take care of them.’

People congratulated Owen on his confrontation and said: ‘Good job Owen. Those poor dogs. They shouldn’t have dogs if they can’t care for them the same way they can care for children.”

‘Some people don’t deserve dogs. It makes me so angry when I see things like this. Well done for saying something.’

“Honestly well done, thanks for keeping those dogs safe!” Xx’
