Elsewhere during their visit, they encountered a huge bear, which seemed to happily feed from Steven’s hand.

Steven didn’t seem alarmed by the bear’s presence and smiled brightly as he stood just a few feet away from the creature.

The appearance comes shortly after Jean-Claude Van Damme addressed his famous feud with Steven in the 1990s in an interview with MailOnline.

Both actors were considered two of the best action heroes from the golden age of martial arts in Hollywood films at the time, which led to a level of competitiveness and public sparring.

When Jean-Claude Seagal heard him belittled in interviews, he allegedly challenged him to “meet him outside” at a party at Sylvester Stallone’s Miami home in 1991 – but Steven refused to take him up on his offer.

Jean-Claude spoke about the situation to MailOnline from his hotel room in Hong Kong, saying: ‘If Steven doesn’t like me, that’s OK. If someone like Beethovan or Einstein didn’t like me, that might worry me.

“But Seagal, I don’t mind if he doesn’t like me. I really don’t care. I don’t think there’s a problem.’

George has contested elections for the past fifty years and his last bid failed to see him elected to the Scottish Parliament in 2021.

Outside of his political career, he has worked in the media, presenting radio talk shows and TV programmes.

He became infamous for his time on Celebrity Big Brother, when shocked viewers saw him pretending to be a cat with Rula Lenska.
