A date goes wrong, with a woman saying she jumped out of a moving car.

She said she did not want to pursue a relationship with the man because of his “red flags.”

Ruthie (@ruthyandthebrain) filmed herself discussing the fiasco in a video on TikTok.

“I literally jumped out of a moving car because I was on a date, okay?” she said.

“When I told you, I didn’t even wait for this man to stop.

“He was over an hour late for our date. Over an hour late, a two hour date. I should have known then to just cancel because you’re not respecting my time,” she added .

She said she “overlooked” the lateness because they had known each other since high school and Los Angeles is known for heavy traffic.

“He picks me up over an hour late, and when I get in the car we hug.

“‘Hey, nice to see you. I haven’t seen you in a while. Good to see you,’ right? And then I let him know, ‘Hey, you’re an hour late. Next time, please don’t.’ Show up so late because I’m not going on a date.’

“I was resolute. I wasn’t ab***h. I wasn’t condescending, I wasn’t shouting. I wasn’t aggressive. None of that.

“I just wanted to let him know that I am a very punctual person. My time is valuable to me,” she added.

She said her date didn’t take too kindly to her honest request.

“This man turned his car around,” she said.

“Like, ‘I’m taking you back home, who do you think you’re telling me I can’t be late to take you to a date? I drove 30 minutes to pick you up and I paid for these tickets ‘,’ she added.

She had a warning for others who were looking for love in the wrong places.

“Never date the person you’ve been chasing, that you’ve wanted for a long time, because they’re usually crazy,” she said.

“I jumped out of a half-moving car tonight because I couldn’t get away from this man fast enough.

“And I left his door fucking wide open,” she added, saying he also “got away” from the scene.

She added her thoughts on why her date behaved the way he did towards her.

“I feel like because he didn’t have access to me for over twenty years, when he finally got the chance, he wanted to show me who’s boss,” okay?
