A TODDLER has been mauled by his family’s XL Bully.
The three-year-old was left ‘severely bleeding’ after the event pet dog sank his teeth into his face.

The beast, that was registered after the breed banattacked the little boy when he tried to climb on the mutt.
After the horror in a building Doncaster On Monday, the youngster was rushed to hospital for surgery.
Police arrived on scene around 1:15 p.m. where the dog was seized.
It is currently staying in kennels while police conduct their investigation.

South Yorkshire Police Chief Inspector Emma Cheney said despite registering the dog, it does not remove the dog’s highly dangerous nature.
She said: “This family has recognized the change in legislation surrounding the XL Bully and registered their dog, but this does not remove the danger these dogs pose and why the ban has been introduced.
“All dogs can be aggressive; they are animals, but some dogs have a greater ability to cause damage due to their size and strength.
Dangerous dog law explained
After eleven horrific attacks in 1991, Home Secretary Kenneth Baker vowed to “rid the country of the menace of these fighting dogs” by introducing the Dangerous Dogs Act.
The law is often considered controversial because it focuses on a dog’s breed or appearance rather than an individual dog’s behavior, and fails to curb the rise of dog attacks.
According to the RSPCAMore than a third of people killed by dogs since the law was introduced were attacked by legal breeds.
“Children should never be unsupervised when they have dogs, even pets that you think would ‘never hurt’ your children.
“A dog’s instinct to protect itself is to bite. Parents should ensure that children learn to respect a dog’s space and are encouraged to set boundaries around feeding and rest times.”
It comes after Prime Minister Rishi Sunak introduced a ban on the breed last year.
XL Bullies were considered illegal – unless registered – from February 1, 2024.
Anyone who owns an XL Bully and is failure to comply with the strict rules have their dog taken away and risk prosecution and a criminal record.
It comes after a spate of deadly attacks, with one man killed after being attacked by an XL bully last year.
The government believes there have been 11 deaths caused by XL bullies in the past three years, but… more horror attacks.
