How Donna Kelce will stay warm during Travis Kelce's Saturday game

The cold weather won't last Travis Kelce's mother, Donna Kelceof cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday, January 13th.

“I'm going to both games, yes,” said 71-year-old Donna Additional a day earlier, on Friday, January 12, when asked about sons Travis, 34, and Jason Kelce's debut appearances in the 2024 playoffs.

Travis, a tight end for the Chiefs, will play a home game against the Miami Dolphins on Saturday. Jason, 36, and his Philadelphia Eagles team will head to Florida on Monday, January 15 to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Before the games even start, the Chiefs match is already making headlines due to the expected weather. In Missouri, where the team's Arrowhead Stadium is located, temperatures can reach as high as 2 degrees Fahrenheit. The NFL will take extra precautions to prevent players and coaches from developing hypothermia, including handing out heavy jackets and swapping sideline benches for heated benches. Donna, for her part, has her own plan to stay warm on Saturday.

“I'm in the skybox so it won't be too cold,” Donna pointed out Additional, referring to Travis' private suite in Arrowhead. “But the windows are open and I'm in the front row, so it's still cold.”

She added: “I need a blanket and I will have my winter coat on.”

Travis is also getting ready to take the field after sitting out Sunday, January 7's game.

I wear the KC bracelet when I'm there [Travis’] games and I wear the Philly bracelet when I'm there [Jason’s] games.”
