How Hamas is brainwashing children to become jihadists: Terrorists teach Gaza children how to shoot guns, launch anti-tank missiles and stage suicide bombings against Israel in summer camps – after indoctrinating them with anti-Semitic Mickey Mouse imitation

For months, Palestinian children from the Gaza Strip watched as an adult in a fake Mickey Mouse costume blamed the Jewish people for the world’s misery and sins.

Farfour the Mouse, a costumed character with a creepy, high-pitched voice that captured the attention of children, aired on Al-Aqsa, the Hamas-run TV channel at the center of the terror group’s propaganda operation.

The channel is currently run by Fathi Hammad, a former interior minister of the Hamas government in Gaza, who was designated a terrorist by the US in 2016 for his role as leader of Al-Aqsa.

The US describes the TV channel as a “primary Hamas media outlet with programs designed to recruit children to become Hamas armed fighters and suicide bombers once they reach adulthood.”

Hammad said at the time that he was proud to be labeled a terrorist by the US Washingtonpost at the time: ‘The decision only gives me more confidence in my path. The threat of murder or arrest? It doesn’t scare me, not at all. I look forward.’

Between April and June 2007, Farfour was a mainstay of “The Pioneers of Tomorrow,” a children’s program that has a similar style to Sesame Street, but with a shocking layer of anti-Semitism designed to radicalize Gazan children.

Farfour often took part in violent and anti-Semitic activities. In one ‘sketch’ he was caught copying a fellow student in a classroom. When asked why he cheated, he said: “It was against my will, because the Jews destroyed our house and I couldn’t find my notebooks.”

Another fragment shows Farfour telling Palestinian children about Islamic rule.

He says in the excerpt: ‘We, the pioneers of tomorrow, will restore this nation to its glory, and we will liberate Al-Aqsa and Iraq by the will of Allah, and we will liberate the Muslim lands invaded by murderers.’

Farfour’s time at Gazan TV was short-lived, as he was murdered in a skit in June 2007.

An Israeli interrogator, sitting across a desk from the knock-off mouse, tells him, “Farfour, we want to buy the land. We’ll give you a lot of money.’

“No, we are not selling our country to terrorists,” he says, looking into the camera.

After denying the interrogator the right to buy “his country” in the skit, Farfour is stabbed to death, before a child tells the audience: “Farfour became a martyr protecting his country.”

Farfour is just one of many tools Al-Aqsa has used to radicalize Palestinian children over the years.

The channel showed a series of music videos, one of which featured a four-year-old girl singing to her mother, who ended up killing four Israeli soldiers.

Then the young girl holds an explosive and sings to the camera, “I’m following in mommy’s footsteps.”

But Hamas doesn’t just use the airwaves to share anti-Semitic propaganda.

This summer, Hamas reopened its annual “Shields of Jerusalem” summer camps, designed to introduce young children to ideas about radicalism and armed struggle against the world at large.

The camps, which include children of all ages, give participants the opportunity to train with a variety of weapons, including AK-47s, sniper rifles, RPG launchers, mortars and machine guns.

They are taught by members of Hamas’s military wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades.

Terrorists who carried out attacks on Israel are seen as role models, and their portraits can be seen throughout the camps. MEMRI reported.

Furthermore, Israeli flags are seen on the ground, so Palestinian children visiting these camps are constantly stepping on them in an unconscious act of resistance against the state.

The propaganda effort helped fuel the unprecedented Black Saturday attack, in which Hamas fighters killed 1,200 Israelis, mostly civilians.

In response, Israel launched an offensive campaign that killed nearly 22,000 people, mostly women and children.

Despite the high death toll, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday that Israel showed unparalleled “morality” in the Gaza war and rejected South Africa’s accusation that it committed “genocidal” acts on Palestinian territory.

“We will continue our defensive war, the justice and morality of which are unparalleled,” Netanyahu said at a cabinet meeting in Tel Aviv.

His comment came after South Africa filed a case against Israel at the International Court of Justice on Friday over what it said were “genocidal” acts in Gaza.

“No, South Africa, it is not us who have come to commit genocide, but Hamas,” Netanyahu said.

“It would kill us all if it could. The IDF, on the other hand, acts as morally as possible.”
