New Delhi, June 30: This year’s French Bastille Day parade will be special as Prime Minister Modi will be the guest of honour. 3 IAF Rafale fighter jets are ready to take part in the Bastille Day flypast over the Champs Elysees, Paris. French President Emmanuel Macron has invited Prime Minister Modi to attend the Bastille Day Parade. The French traditional military parade is held in Paris during Bastille Day on July 14. The Indian military contingent would also form part of the Bastille Day marching contingent. They will march in the Paris parade along with their French counterparts on Bastille Day. Bastille Day Parade marked as a national holiday of France and it is one of the oldest regular military parades in the world. This visit by Prime Minister Modi to France is expected to herald a new phase in the strategic partnership between India and France.
